About this tool

Ledger keeps track of your money without asking for a single bank login. There is no account to create, no subscription, and nothing to connect — you open it and start.

Budget by calendar month, by biweekly paycheck, or by week, and switch between them whenever your situation changes without losing any history. A clean dashboard shows income, spending and what is actually left, while separate sections handle bills, everyday expenses, savings goals and debt payoff.

Bills carry forward on their own, so a recurring payment only needs entering once. Every period you finish stays in the archive, which makes it easy to look back at a month and see where the money actually went.

Your data lives in your own browser and is never uploaded anywhere. A one-click export writes a backup file you can keep wherever you like.
