Bill's Workshop Company collects as little as it can get away with. This page says exactly what that is, who else touches it, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

  • Your email address — to sign you in and to attach your purchases to you. It is the only thing required to buy.
  • Your name — only if you give it, for example in the contact form.
  • Purchase records — which product, how much was paid, when, and a Stripe session reference. This is what grants you access afterwards.
  • Download records — which product you downloaded and when.
  • Contact messages — what you sent, the topic you chose, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address used only to rate-limit the form. The raw address is never stored.

We never see your card details. Payment happens on Stripe’s own checkout page and card numbers never reach this site.

What the tools themselves collect

Nothing, and this is the part worth understanding. The interactive tools run entirely in your browser and save what you type into your own device’s local storage. That data is never sent to us and we cannot see it, recover it, or restore it. Clearing your browsing data for this site erases it, so export or print anything you want to keep.

Cookies and signed-in state

Signing in sets a cookie holding a signed token that identifies you. It is not a tracking cookie and it is not shared with anyone. There are no advertising or third-party marketing cookies on this site, and so no consent banner to click through.

Who else processes your data

  • Stripe — takes payment and holds the payment details we never see.
  • Resend — sends your sign-in links, receipts and replies. It handles your email address to deliver them.
  • Neon — hosts the database your account and purchase records live in.
  • Vercel — hosts the site and stores the product files, and provides the privacy-friendly page analytics we use. Those analytics count page views without cookies and without profiling individual visitors.

Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else, and it is not used to train anything.

How long it is kept

  • Account and purchase records — for as long as you have an account, because they are what let you re-download what you bought.
  • Sign-in links — they expire shortly after being sent and are discarded.
  • Contact messages — kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have context if you write again.

Getting your data, or getting rid of it

Email support@billsworkshopcompany.com from the address on the account and ask. You can have a copy of what we hold, have mistakes corrected, or have your account deleted.

Deletion is worth thinking about first. We remove your account and personal details, but keep a minimal record of the transaction itself — the amount, the date and the Stripe reference — because we are required to retain those for tax and dispute purposes. Deleting your account ends your access to everything you have bought, and that cannot be undone. Download anything you still want first.

Children

This site is not intended for children, and accounts are not knowingly created for them.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything unclear or anything you want to challenge — ask.
