Terms of use
Last updated 27 August 2026
These terms cover your use of this site and the tools sold through it. Buying something, or using the site, means you accept them. “We” means Bill's Workshop Company.
What you may do with what you buy
That is set out in full on the license page, which forms part of these terms. In short, what you buy is yours to use personally and in your own work — but not to resell, redistribute or repackage.
Your account
Signing in works by emailed link, so there is no password to lose — but anyone with access to your inbox can get into your account. Keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for giving us an address you actually control.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used to redistribute purchased files or to abuse the site.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Try to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the site.
- Scrape the catalog or bulk-download products.
- Use the site or its products for anything unlawful.
- Attempt to bypass payment or access controls on a product.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe. Refunds are covered by the refunds policy.
Our own intellectual property
The products, the site, its text and its images belong to us and are protected by copyright. Buying a product licenses you to use it; it does not transfer ownership of it.
What we do and do not promise
The tools are supplied as they are. We work to make them accurate and useful, but we cannot promise they will suit every purpose, run identically in every browser, or be free of every fault. They are planning aids — they are not financial, medical, legal or professional advice, and they should not be used as a substitute for it.
Because the tools save your data in your own browser, we cannot recover anything you lose by clearing your browser data, changing device, or losing one. Keep your own copies of anything that matters.
Limitation of liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or its products, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the product it concerns.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up and your purchases downloadable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and a product may be withdrawn from sale. If a product you own is withdrawn we will give you reasonable opportunity to download it.
Privacy
What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any dispute.
